Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Electrical Maintenance Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of electrical systems within the facility through maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety procedures.

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and restore electrical equipment and power distribution systems
• Drive corrective actions for assigned systems
• Support commissioning, energization, and system validation activities
• Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures
• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory readiness

• 3–5+ years of experience with industrial electrical systems
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and troubleshooting methods
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting ability for electrical equipment
• Experience with safety practices (LOTO, NFPA 70E)
• High school diploma required; technical degree or electrical license preferred
