Responsibilities
- Review project drawings and instructions to determine test specifications and objectives.
- Design and draft detail drawings using CAD (e.g., SOLIDWORKS).
- Fabricate modified prototype components.
- Provide technical support on projects under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
- Assist with project assignments and resource management.
- Develop and test equipment while applying mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Conduct tests and record results in relation to design specifications.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two plus years in project management or support preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical and/or nuclear engineering technology is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of CAD (e.g., SOLIDWORKS) preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Creative, analytical, detail-oriented with good hands-on mechanical skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
