Responsibilities
- Analyze existing drivetrain failure modes in the RWECE fleet.
- Evaluate the criticality of failure modes within drivetrain components.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for drivetrain damages and failures.
- Perform drivetrain dispositions.
- Manage third-party consultants in conducting root cause analyses for major failures.
- Develop measurements and KPIs to drive team performance.
- Lead initiatives to improve engineering practices and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of equipment in the renewable energy sector, especially wind turbines.
- Experience in leading root cause analyses for mechanical components.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
