Responsibilities
- Design balance of plant packages during project development.
- Provide engineering project support during pre-construction, construction, and turnover to operations.
- Ensure compliance with grid code and interconnection requirements.
- Specify and evaluate major electrical equipment for balance of plant.
- Conduct power system modeling and studies.
- Coordinate engineering topics during construction with internal stakeholders.
- Manage third-party engineering consultants and support the development of engineering standards and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in transmission design, substation design, and renewable generation project design preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
