Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, and technical drawings using Solidworks CAD.
- Perform calculations and simulations for mechanical systems' integrity and performance.
- Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to verify design performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including manuals and reports.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor performance data and field feedback for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in marine, automotive, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and FEA tools.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes like CNC machining and injection molding.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
