Responsibilities
- Define, process, and interpret static and dynamic ground test & flight data.
- Perform, validate, and document structural analyses of vehicle structures.
- Conduct structural and dynamic simulations, including static and random vibration analyses.
- Collaborate with design and test engineers on design concepts and test requirements.
- Define test requirements and support testing of vehicle subsystems and components.
- Lead technical projects and programs across disciplines.
- Implement new theory and tools, establishing best practices in technical expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Eligible for security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Structural analysis experience in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency with NX Nastran, NX CAD, and Teamcenter packages.
- For II level, 2+ years of structural analysis experience is required.
- Familiarity with sensor selection and data interpretation.
- Experience with structural analysis of composites and nonlinear material simulation is a plus.
