Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development team with proposals and mission concepts
- Develop high-performance and lightweight satellite systems and mechanisms
- Define mechanisms for modern satellite systems/buses
- Own component designs from conceptual design through production and testing
- Perform calculations and analysis to drive design decisions
- Lead key component design and manufacturing reviews
- Create and maintain product definitions through CAD and production drawings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Mechanical engineering experience
- Proficiency in CAD modeling and drawing
- U.S. citizenship due to program requirements
- Experience with spacecraft/satellite design is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills in mechanical mechanisms
- Ability to manage development schedules and project deliverables
