Responsibilities
- Work closely with mentors and department employees to apply engineering knowledge.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced group to solve real engineering challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings for progress updates and learning.
- Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
- Assist in the design and testing of Neutron’s structures and components.
- Help set up Neutron’s launch pads and test sites.
- Contribute to the development of a new large rocket.
Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a relevant engineering, physics, or math degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small teams.
- Strong collaboration and project leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CAD and engineering software (Siemens NX, ANSYS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and rocket engine systems is beneficial.
