Responsibilities

  • Support the design and analysis of engine system hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering challenges.
  • Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for guidance and progress updates.
  • Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
  • Work on Neutron’s structures and components, including launch pad setups.
  • Engage in testing of Neutron’s new Archimedes engines.
  • Contribute to the development of a new large rocket.

Job Requirements

  • Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with CAD and fluid mechanics is a plus.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks.
