Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
- Design and test structures and components for the Neutron rocket.
- Assist in the development of Archimedes engines.
- Participate in regular mentorship meetings for progress updates.
- Engage in tech talks and networking events with fellow interns and employees.
- Contribute to the setup of launch pads and test sites.
- Support the overall mission of launching a new large rocket.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Familiarity with CAD and fluid mechanics is preferred.
- Experience with Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench is a plus.
- Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid dynamics is beneficial.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
