Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
  • Design and test structures and components for the Neutron rocket.
  • Assist in the development of Archimedes engines.
  • Participate in regular mentorship meetings for progress updates.
  • Engage in tech talks and networking events with fellow interns and employees.
  • Contribute to the setup of launch pads and test sites.
  • Support the overall mission of launching a new large rocket.

Job Requirements

  • Enrollment in an engineering, physics, or math degree program with at least one semester remaining.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with CAD and fluid mechanics is preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and ANSYS Workbench is a plus.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid dynamics is beneficial.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
