Responsibilities
- Serve as the program manager for space systems projects.
- Deliver space systems to the launch pad on time and within budget.
- Partner with the Chief Engineer to plan and execute programs.
- Identify and proactively develop recovery plans for implementation issues.
- Approve selection and manage subcontracts for spacecraft components.
- Report program status and issues to senior leadership.
- Lead input into proposal development and business activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math, or a technical discipline.
- 12+ years of program management experience in the aerospace industry.
- Direct technical experience supporting satellite and/or space programs.
- U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Experience managing both low and high-cost space programs.
- Project management qualifications such as PMP preferred.
- Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours.
