Manufacturing Engineering Intern Summer 2026

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Rocket Lab will work with design, production, and quality teams to develop and qualify processes for making rocket engines while gaining technical and professional skills.

• Collaborate with mentors and other employees to apply engineering knowledge.
• Solve real challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend 1:1 meetings with mentors for progress updates.
• Participate in tech talks and networking events.
• Lead development projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results.
• Contribute to the manufacturing of rockets and satellites.

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics, or math.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, or machining is preferred.
• Experience using CAD is a plus.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site for 12 weeks starting May or June 2026.
