Responsibilities
- Contribute to design reviews focusing on design for manufacture and quality control.
- Perform Value Stream Mapping Exercises and develop Method of Manufacture plans.
- Implement factory layouts and production commissioning.
- Develop and document production processes, including testing procedures.
- Interface with the quality team to resolve engineering quality responsibilities.
- Design and implement tooling and equipment for production improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement processes using lean tools and techniques.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace engineering, or similar.
- Understanding of fluid and structural mechanics fundamentals.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for aerospace materials.
- For II level: 2+ years of professional engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with assembly and testing of turbomachinery is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as welding and CNC machining.
- Ability to work long hours and weekends based on test and launch schedules.
