Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for mechatronic systems at the component, subsystem, and robot level
- Validate sensor integration, actuator performance, and control system functionality
- Conduct performance testing of electromechanical assemblies including motors, encoders, and vision systems
- Build and maintain test fixtures and automation for repetitive validation tasks
- Troubleshoot hardware and software integration issues during testing
- Analyze test data and provide actionable feedback to mechanical, electrical, and software teams
- Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for design improvements
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechatronic testing, robotics validation, or related field
- Hands-on experience testing integrated electromechanical systems (sensors, actuators, motors, control systems)
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, torque sensors, thermocouples, and data acquisition systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control theory
- Experience with CAD tools and reading technical drawings
- Familiarity with robotics platforms, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
