Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design process from conceptualization to production for charging products.
- Optimize product architecture for user experience, quality, reliability, and cost.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate production of designs.
- Implement Design for Manufacture principles and create engineering drawings.
- Conduct FEA and thermal simulations to validate designs.
- Test and validate designs from prototype to production.
- Contribute to consumer product engineering design as needed.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design and CAD for large products.
- Proficient in sheet metal, casting, and injection molding.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with CATIA or other major CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving and creative engineering skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality in engineering.
