Responsibilities
- Define customer user stories and derive high-level system requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams for system design integration.
- Maintain essential technical documentation, including schematics and specifications.
- Decompose electrical system design into subsystem requirements and collaborate with teams.
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA) and incorporate mitigations.
- Analyze the electrical system for safety-critical design requirements.
- Develop validation test programs and review test reports for design conformance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience with systems development and analysis of integrated hardware & software systems.
- Excellent fundamentals in electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 or similar functional safety standards.
- Experience with autonomous vehicle sensor technologies.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary trade studies.
- Ability to read wiring schematics and interact with CAD software.
