Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and packaging of electrical components in CAD.
- Collaborate with harness leads to optimize architecture for cost and mass.
- Drive designs to minimize assembly time and improve factory yields.
- Design mechanical components while interfacing with multiple business functions.
- Develop component mechanical functional requirements based on product needs.
- Complete design verification plans to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position.
Job Requirements
- At least 12 years of industry experience in automotive or related fields.
- B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mechanism design, thermal design, and PCB integration.
- Proven ability to solve electrical architecture challenges.
- Proficient CAD designer, ideally in Catia V5/V6/3DX.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and EV vehicle systems.
