Responsibilities
- Develop high-power electrical circuits such as LLC and DC/AC inverters.
- Perform topology selection trade studies.
- Design circuits, create schematics, and conduct component selection.
- Analyze and simulate circuits using tools like Matlab and PLECS.
- Interact with suppliers for critical component design.
- Test prototype power electronics circuits in the lab.
- Characterize power semiconductor devices including Silicon, SiC, and GaN.
Job Requirements
- Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in power electronics.
- Expertise in high power EV chargers or energy storage related power converters.
- Deep understanding of power semiconductor switches and diodes.
- Strong experience in designing inverter and converter circuits.
- Knowledge of embedded control of power electronic circuits.
- Experience with software tools such as Spice and Matlab.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
