Responsibilities
- Develop high-power electrical circuits, such as inverters and DC-DC converters.
- Perform topology selection trade studies.
- Design circuits, select components, and support circuit board layout.
- Analyze and simulate circuits and components.
- Test prototype power electronics circuits in the lab.
- Engage with Mechanical, Systems, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, and Reliability Engineers.
- Cooperate with team members for critical technical tests and decisions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred) specializing in power electronics.
- At least 1 year of experience developing high-power electronics.
- Strong understanding of power semiconductor switches and diodes.
- Experience designing and analyzing inverter and converter circuits.
- Knowledge of embedded control of power electronic circuits.
- Skilled in using software tools such as Spice, PLECS, and Matlab.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
