Responsibilities
- Lead engineering deliverables for the design and validation of aluminum and steel wheels and accessories.
- Collaborate with design teams to assess wheel design feasibility and monitor attribute targets.
- Evaluate wheel designs using CAE software and define validation procedures.
- Create engineering specification packages for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Manage CAD engineering releases and perform virtual builds within CATIA 3DX.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Balance multiple projects and responsibilities, including travel for testing and supplier visits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in wheel design or development.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as CAD and CAE software.
- Strong problem-solving skills using first principles.
- Understanding of wheel & tire design standards and homologation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects independently.
