Responsibilities
- Use electronic lab equipment to test Rivian designed electronics.
- Flash electronics with engineering and validation software builds.
- Troubleshoot hardware and provide summaries to engineering or manufacturing teams.
- Perform rework and repair of electronics including testers and electronic control units.
- Solder electronic equipment and build electrical harnesses.
- Assemble electronics for engineering vehicle builds and validation testing.
- Operate testers and maintain flashing procedures within the technician team.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of technician work experience in electronics/engineering labs.
- Technician or technology degree.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and eCAD drawings.
- Proficient use of lab equipment such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- IPC certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux command prompts and cloud-based code repositories preferred.
