Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and hardware for special project assets including show cars and marketing vehicles.
- Support builds from design through testing, release, assembly, and delivery.
- Specify and/or design surrogate hardware to replace production components.
- Maintain clear design documentation for repairs and future projects.
- Interface with prototype and production engineering to establish project requirements.
- Work on mechatronics, LV/HV wiring, embedded design, and power electronics.
- Collaborate to solve complex problems in unfamiliar systems.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience with mechatronics systems.
- Understanding of LV and HV vehicle architecture for circuit and wiring design.
- Ability to design PCBs and integrate their functions into vehicle architectures.
- Capability to collaborate effectively to find solutions.
- Ability to make quick tradeoffs and decisions to drive progress.
- Experience in developing software for custom applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments.
