Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release exterior components including front and rear fascia assemblies and exterior trim components.
- Expand knowledge in manufacturing processes such as injection molding and over-molding.
- Collaborate with the studio team to generate high-quality A-surfaces that meet DFM requirements.
- Utilize first principle-driven design to optimize exterior components.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to manage multiple parts and processes.
- Create CAD concepts and detailed 2D sections for initial development.
- Solve design problems by working with cross-functional teams to meet system requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–2 examples of design internship experience or similar professional role preferred.
- Proficiency in CATIA v5/v6 or similar CAD software.
- Hands-on experience in design-through-manufacturing processes.
- Ability to generate 3D geometry and sectional data.
- Involvement in process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
