Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release exterior components such as fascia assemblies and front end modules.
- Utilize engineering fundamentals to understand various manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the studio team to provide feedback and ensure designs meet DFM requirements.
- Apply first principle driven design to develop optimal exterior components.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional groups while managing multiple parts and changes.
- Create CAD concepts and detailed 2D and 3D designs during development.
- Work with teams to solve problems and meet system requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred 1-2 examples of design internship experience.
- Proficiency in Catia v5/v6 or similar CAD tools.
- Hands-on experience in design through manufacturing processes.
- Ability to generate 3D geometry and sectional data.
- Strong logical reasoning and organizational skills.
- Desire to improve customer satisfaction through design enhancements.
