Responsibilities
- Lead system and component design for brake systems, including rotors, calipers, and pedals.
- Identify technical challenges and drive problem-solving during development and production.
- Ensure compliance with homologation standards for brake components.
- Create engineering specification packages for partners.
- Manage design verification requirements and testing plans.
- Release documentation for brake system components, including models and drawings.
- Collaborate with suppliers to deliver hardware on time and to specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in chassis design or development at an OEM or supplier.
- Proficiency in brake system design fundamentals.
- Experience with brake-by-wire and ADAS technologies.
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and supplier interaction.
- Genuine interest in electric vehicles and chassis design.
- Ability to solve complex problems using first principles.
