Responsibilities
- Lead validation of integrated software releases at the subsystem level.
- Work cross-functionally with various vehicle control teams to land quality end-to-end features.
- Develop a strong understanding of various hardware platforms.
- Support failure analysis and root cause analysis for test and integration issues.
- Develop test strategies for vehicle-level features to ensure proper test coverage and assist with automation.
- Bridge the gap between software development and integration of Infotainment software as it pertains to vehicle software.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure a tight feedback loop.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years hands-on experience integrating and testing Automotive embedded sub-systems or similar consumer electronics devices.
- Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) software development models.
- Solid understanding and experience with RTOS and POSIX-based embedded systems; one or more of Linux, Android, QNX.
- Fluency with debugging communications issues involving Ethernet and CAN using industry-standard tools.
- Experience developing configuration, measurement, and testing scripts using Python within the context of a test automation framework.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
