Responsibilities
- Design and release electronics packaging for components.
- Collaborate with teams to define packaging space within vehicles.
- Ensure enclosures meet thermal, environmental, and EMC requirements.
- Optimize designs for high volume manufacturing.
- Review manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Conduct mechanical validation and simulations.
- Ensure mechanical performance of modules in vehicle integration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with die-casting, sheet metal stamping, and injection molded plastics.
- Proficient in CAD tools, preferably Catia V5 or V6.
- Knowledge of mechanical constraints for PCBAs.
- Experience with thermal and mechanical simulations, Ansys preferred.
- Familiarity with GD&T requirements.
- Expertise in high volume production and tooling design.
