Responsibilities
- Assist in designing modular mechanical fixtures for testing vehicle electronics.
- Utilize 3D CAD software to create models, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Learn how to design custom mechanical interfaces for vehicle electronics.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define mechanical test requirements.
- Help design rack-based test systems for high-volume manufacturing.
- Create professional engineering diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Basic proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong interest in the interaction between mechanical hardware and electronics.
- Hands-on mindset and enjoyment in building things.
- Ability to clearly explain design choices and collaborate with a team.
- Previous internship or project experience in relevant fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic electronics or vehicle communication protocols is advantageous.
