Responsibilities
- Drive technical and product excellence for electrical-mechanical components.
- Support and develop Proof of Concept work for program success.
- Lead complete life-cycle development of electronics and engage with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct development including PDRs and CDRs, and perform DFMEA and functional safety analysis.
- Work closely with Supplier Quality to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Integrate components into subsystems and the overall vehicle system.
- Maintain component and system-level DVPRs and ensure test execution.
Job Requirements
- BS+ in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related engineering degree; Master's is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in vehicle level component programs preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supplier processes, manufacturing, and standards.
- Good understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals; electro-mechanical background is a plus.
- Familiarity with the automotive hardware/software development process.
- Experience with Tier 1s to deliver complete products and systems on time.
- Understanding of PLM and component release cycles.
