Responsibilities
- Drive technical and product excellence for electrical-mechanical components.
- Support and develop proof of concept work for program success.
- Lead the complete life-cycle development of electronics and interface with design teams.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions for performance and cost.
- Lead development including PDRs and CDRs, and perform DFMEA and safety analysis.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Integrate components into subsystems and maintain component-level DVPRs.
Job Requirements
- BS+ in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related degree; Master's is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in vehicle-level component programs preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supplier processes and manufacturing standards.
- Good understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals; electro-mechanical background is a plus.
- Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products on time.
- Understanding of PLM and component release cycles.
- Experience in ISO26262 development process and knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
