Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, and install HIL/Labcar cabling and test rack equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain and track HIL and test bench issues to ensure equipment is fit for use.
- Provide cross-divisional support to address lab equipment deficiencies.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of test assets.
- Maintain inventory and organization of HIL and Labcar equipment.
- Perform cleanup duties and maintain equipment tracking.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automotive or aerospace harness assembly design.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for building harness cables and fault-testing.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and device transmittals.
- Experience with rapid-prototype harnesses and component procurement.
- Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with communication protocol circuits (e.g., CAN, LIN) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
