Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and supplier management for major vehicle structures ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to influence design for manufacturability.
- Drive supplier performance through rigorous risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking.
- Mentor and support team members, building expertise in aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Act as a thought leader for relevant commodities, continuously improving sourcing processes.
- Manage supplier performance improvements through KPIs and recovery plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 9+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
- Direct experience managing avionics commodities in aerospace.
- Proven success in driving supplier performance improvements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and standards.
- New Product Development (NPD) or Introduction (NPI) supply chain experience.
