Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of tooling engineers.
- Define and execute the long-term tooling strategy to align with production goals.
- Oversee design, fabrication, and commissioning of complex tooling systems.
- Manage tooling project portfolio for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Partner with design and manufacturing teams for tooling readiness.
- Standardize best practices for design documentation and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement in tooling processes and practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in tooling design or manufacturing engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in leadership roles.
- Expertise in CAD and PLM systems (e.g., NX, Teamcenter, CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs effectively.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or oil & gas environments is a plus.
