Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical project construction activities for launch and recovery facilities.
  • Work on electrical systems across voltages ranging from 22.5 kV to 120 V.
  • Support power generation, distribution, protection, and fault recovery for the recovery vessel.
  • Develop construction drawings and manage subcontractor selection and management.
  • Design electrical systems and provide requirements for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate on the development of at-sea recovery systems for the Terran R rocket.
  • Expected to travel with the recovery vessel for rocket launch recovery and securing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional experience in marine or construction industries with electrical systems.
  • Experience applying electrical engineering principles in industrial or infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Nice to have: experience with DoD, USAF/USSF, ABYC, and/or NASA standards.
  • Prior experience in aerospace (orbital launch vehicle) or marine sectors is a plus.
  • Must clear a background check for on-site work at government partner locations.
