Responsibilities
- Lead projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
- Conduct end-to-end hardware design with a focus on ownership and accountability.
- Work within CAD environments (NX) and perform FEA analyses using Nastran and/or ANSYS.
- Collaborate with civil and fluids engineering teams and vehicle engineering groups.
- Develop and review procedures for testing or operating designed equipment.
- Coordinate with in-house and external fabrication partners for hardware delivery.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring alignment with high-level objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full-cycle mechanical design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Strong foundation in structural mechanics and engineering analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage evolving project requirements.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards is a plus (e.g., NASA, DoD, USAF).
