Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
  • Conduct end-to-end hardware design with a focus on ownership and accountability.
  • Work within CAD environments (NX) and perform FEA analyses using Nastran and/or ANSYS.
  • Collaborate with civil and fluids engineering teams and vehicle engineering groups.
  • Develop and review procedures for testing or operating designed equipment.
  • Coordinate with in-house and external fabrication partners for hardware delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring alignment with high-level objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in full-cycle mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Strong foundation in structural mechanics and engineering analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage evolving project requirements.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards is a plus (e.g., NASA, DoD, USAF).
