Responsibilities
- Apply engineering methods to lead mechanical design projects.
- Interpret and coordinate requirements between vehicle systems and ground support engineering teams.
- Develop 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and fluid system schematics.
- Conduct structural, dynamic, and system performance analyses.
- Present design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with various teams on the Terran R vehicle development.
- Solve complex problems creatively and practically under tight deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of mechanical design, structural analysis, and fluid systems.
- Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Prior internship or professional experience in related fields (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with structural materials and manufacturing processes (nice to have).
- Knowledge of designing complex fluid systems (nice to have).
- Strong communication skills for presenting engineering concepts.
