Responsibilities
- Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design and modeling.
- Conduct pipe stress analysis and create fabrication drawings.
- Develop process and instrumentation diagrams and component lists.
- Supervise construction activation, commissioning, and initial operations of facilities.
- Solve technically challenging problems under varying programmatic pressures.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful launch operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards for fluid systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in thermal and fluid analyses.
- General experience with fluid components such as valves, regulators, and instrumentation.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with DOD, USAF, and NASA personnel is a plus.
