Responsibilities
- Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design and modeling.
- Create fabrication drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
- Supervise the construction, activation, commissioning, and initial operations of launch pad facilities.
- Solve technically challenging problems across various disciplines under programmatic pressures.
- Support the final integration and checkouts of the Terran 1 rocket.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on the design and build of critical infrastructure for Terran R.
- Ensure safety and compliance in operations involving complex fluid systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- 1 or more years of combined engineering experience.
- Experience in thermal and fluid analyses.
- General experience with fluid components like valves and instrumentation.
- Nice to have: experience with complex fluid systems and launch vehicle ground support equipment.
- Fundamental understanding of piping analysis software (e.g., ANSYS).
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet aggressive deadlines.
