Responsibilities
- Design launch pad propellant and gas infrastructure, including fluid system design and modeling.
- Conduct pipe stress analysis and create fabrication drawings and process diagrams.
- Supervise the construction activation and commissioning of launch facilities.
- Solve technically challenging problems under varying programmatic pressures.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure successful operations of the launch pad.
- Ensure safety and compliance in the operation of complex fluid systems.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding project status and requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in thermal and fluid analyses.
- General knowledge of fluid components such as valves, regulators, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with ANSYS and other piping analysis software is a plus.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
