Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of tooling engineers.
- Define and execute the long-term tooling strategy.
- Oversee design, fabrication, and commissioning of complex tooling systems.
- Manage the tooling project portfolio, focusing on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Partner with design engineering and manufacturing teams for tooling readiness.
- Standardize best practices for design documentation and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure reliability and compliance across all tooling assets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in tooling design or manufacturing engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in people leadership.
- Expertise with CAD and PLM systems (e.g., NX, Teamcenter, CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Experience leading large-scale tooling initiatives for complex hardware.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
