Responsibilities

  • Define and own the reliability strategy for hardware products with complex PCBAs and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Plan and execute reliability tests such as HALT, thermal cycling, vibration, drop, humidity, ingress protection (IP) testing, and power cycling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design-for-reliability (DfR) requirements and drive root cause analysis for test failures.
  • Track reliability KPIs and deliver reliability insights to guide design improvements and product decisions.
  • Develop accelerated life test models and support FMEA and DFMEA processes.
  • Analyze reliability data using Weibull, log-normal, and other statistical models to predict field performance.
  • Support failure analysis (FA) efforts using tools like X-ray, cross-sectioning, and SEM/EDX to identify failure mechanisms in PCBAs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
