Responsibilities
- Provide propulsion subsystem technical expertise for cross-functional teams.
- Lead technical baseline development for mechanical subsystems.
- Distill and communicate technical content to customers and leadership.
- Assist program management in task scope development.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Perform technical risk assessment for mechanical subsystems.
- Develop proposal inputs and review proposal content.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft development teams.
- Proficiency with mechanical design and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of spacecraft propulsion subsystems.
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience with GD&T and production quality methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
