Responsibilities
- Architect, design, build, and test components & assemblies under limited supervision.
- Lead and contribute to engineering projects across Quantinuum’s hardware needs.
- Use mechanical design tools like Onshape and Ansys for creative solutions.
- Manage design changes by interfacing with Arena PLM.
- Advance mechanical engineering processes and tools for future business needs.
- Collaborate with team leads and program managers on project plans and schedules.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of mechanical design experience, including CAD modeling and stress analysis.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience summarizing project progress to management.
- U.S. Person status required due to contractual obligations.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Expertise with electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
