Responsibilities
- Work in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment.
- Develop a complex electronic control system for digital, analog, and RF signals.
- Perform circuit design and analysis, embedded software development, and FPGA design and verification.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define new technologies for controlling quantum computers.
- Work with FPGA developers to implement and validate concepts on testbeds.
- Evaluate new software and hardware technologies for quantum control improvement.
- Lead design teams to complete projects on time with first-pass success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital board design.
- Minimum 5+ years in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to national security requirements.
- Preferred: Master’s/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with FPGA design and high-speed serial communication.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
