Responsibilities
- Drive the complete firmware development lifecycle through design, development, debug, and verification.
- Develop core firmware stack utilizing RTOS for essential services and frameworks.
- Define Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability solutions for future Qualcomm CPUs.
- Engage with open-source communities for processor architecture support.
- Collaborate on silicon and platform bring-up, debug, and diagnostics.
- Assist in identifying skills requirements and hiring engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with error reporting and manageability requirements on datacenter server platforms.
- Proficient in writing and debugging C and assembly.
- Experience in embedded firmware development and pre-silicon environments.
- Familiarity with ARM architecture and related specifications is preferred.
- Self-starter with technical leadership skills.
