Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, standards-compliant Automotive Linux platforms using Yocto.
- Lead Safe Linux solution architectures in collaboration with internal safety leads.
- Oversee Qualcomm's Safe Gunyah hypervisor architecture for automotive applications.
- Shape the Linux platform technology roadmap with Software Product Management.
- Collaborate with OEMs to define requirements and system architecture.
- Provide technical support to the Linux Platform Engineering team.
- Guide internal engineering leads towards scalable and modular technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with significant experience in Software Engineering.
- Extensive experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Deep expertise in Linux kernel architecture and embedded system software design.
- Knowledge of automotive software development standards like ASPICE and ISO26262.
- Experience with Automotive Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs is a strong plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Yocto distribution and hypervisors.
- Understanding of secure automotive software architecture and safety subsystems.
