Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, standards-compliant Automotive Linux platforms using Yocto.
- Lead Safe Linux solution architectures in collaboration with internal safety leads.
- Oversee Qualcomm's Safe Gunyah hypervisor architecture for automotive applications.
- Shape the Linux platform technology roadmap with Software Product Management.
- Collaborate with OEMs and Platform Solution Architects to define requirements.
- Provide technical and architectural support to the Linux Platform Engineering team.
- Engage with automotive software development standards and practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience (or relevant experience based on degree).
- 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.
- Extensive experience in embedded system software design and debugging.
- Deep expertise in Linux kernel architecture and functionally safe hypervisors.
- Strong hands-on experience with Yocto distribution.
- Familiarity with automotive software development standards like ASPICE and ISO26262.
