Responsibilities
- Prepares engineering plans, designs, specifications, and standards.
- Develops engineering studies to support program objectives and investment levels.
- Conducts and documents research for system compliance requirements.
- Prepares cost estimates and project evaluations.
- Coordinates with internal and external customers to understand project requirements.
- Manages job work orders and project documentation.
- Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and design requirements.
Job Requirements
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent technical certificate and 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of subject matter within assigned area for independent project work.
- Strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.
- Proficient in PC and design software, and database applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Desired: Experience in design, project cost estimating, and customer project interaction.
- Desired: Knowledge of engineering economics & analysis.
