Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot operational issues related to generator control systems and various power generation equipment.
  • Propose recommendations for control system upgrades and design improvements.
  • Manage projects from inception to close-out, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Prepare specifications and evaluate proposals from vendors.
  • Design and modify control system logic and instrumentation systems.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.
  • Support emergency response work as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in an appropriate engineering field.
  • Experience in planning, design, and project management (typically 3+ years).
  • Strong organization, documentation, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in thermal, hydro, wind, or solar generation plants is desired.
  • Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience with generator and transformer maintenance and protective relay settings.
  • Ability to acquire a Professional Engineering license.
