Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot operational issues related to generator control systems and various power generation equipment.
- Propose recommendations for control system upgrades and design improvements.
- Manage projects from inception to close-out, including creating project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate proposals from vendors.
- Design and modify control system logic and instrumentation systems.
- Mentor and train other engineers and technicians.
- Support emergency response work as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline.
- Entry level to 3 years of experience in engineering design or technical field work.
- Experience in thermal, hydro, wind, or solar generation plants (desired).
- Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems (desired).
- Experience with generator and transformer maintenance (desired).
- Ability to acquire a Professional Engineering license (desired).
- Familiarity with complex engineering projects (desired).
