Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot operational issues related to generator control systems and various power generation equipment.
  • Propose recommendations for control system upgrades and design improvements.
  • Manage projects from inception to close-out, including creating project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Prepare specifications and evaluate proposals from vendors.
  • Design and modify control system logic and instrumentation systems.
  • Mentor and train other engineers and technicians.
  • Support emergency response work as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline.
  • Entry level to 3 years of experience in engineering design or technical field work.
  • Experience in thermal, hydro, wind, or solar generation plants (desired).
  • Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems (desired).
  • Experience with generator and transformer maintenance (desired).
  • Ability to acquire a Professional Engineering license (desired).
  • Familiarity with complex engineering projects (desired).
