Responsibilities
- Own specifications, methodology, setup, execution, and reporting of tests on battery packs and components.
- Develop and adapt test equipment for increased fidelity and repeatability.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering to understand product requirements for test methodologies.
- Document tests, including status reports on parts under test.
- Participate in failure analysis and provide detailed information on failures.
- Design and implement data acquisition and automation scripts.
- Troubleshoot and debug test equipment issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of testing experience.
- Experience with LabVIEW and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C.
- Experience with automotive CAN and J1939 communication networks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
