Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and document electrical systems for PROCEPT’s products.
- Major contributor within the electrical engineering team focusing on visualization systems and imaging electronics.
- Design and develop circuit boards and provide electrical specifications for cables.
- Ensure designs consider interactions with mechanical, firmware, software, and system components.
- Operate lab instruments for testing and troubleshooting.
- Document electrical design specifications, including verification plans and test reports.
- Assist with agency testing for certifications such as UL and CE.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in video processing systems and multi-gigabit SerDes design.
- Skilled in PCB design with tools like Altium Designer or OrCAD.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
