Responsibilities
- Perform time studies and analysis of assembly operations to streamline and eliminate bottlenecks
- Transition key processes from batch assembly to one piece flow
- Optimize fixture and tooling storage and presentation
- Develop workstation standards and POU inventory and tool staging
- Work with QE's on root cause analysis and develop poke yoke's to eliminate quality issues
- Work with supervisors to implement a sustainable productivity tracking process
- Create presentations to report on current projects to the Leadership team
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Ability to perform and interpret statistical analyses
- Some background or understanding of manufacturing processes with related coursework
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
