Responsibilities
- Perform time studies and analysis of assembly operations to streamline and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Transition key processes from batch assembly to one piece flow.
- Optimize fixture and tooling storage and presentation.
- Develop Workstation standards and POU inventory and tool staging.
- Work with Quality Engineers on root cause analysis and develop poke yokes to eliminate quality issues.
- Collaborate with supervisors to implement a sustainable productivity tracking process.
- Create presentations to report on current projects to the Leadership team.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes with related coursework in process improvement.
- Completed courses on time studies and standard work analysis.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
