Forging Engineer Intern (Co-Op)

The Forging Engineer Intern (Co-Op) role involves learning about the forging process, assisting with supply purchasing, and suggesting projects for productivity improvement.

• Learn about the forging process and production tracking
• Assist with the purchasing of supplies for the forge shop
• Suggest projects to help improve productivity or reduce variable cost
• Track projects to determine success or failure and the potential impact
• Hold responsibility for individual and group projects
• Other projects/duties as needed
• Collaborate closely with other departments, customers, and vendors

• Minimum second year students working towards a Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Experience with Oracle is a plus
• Flexible to work around breaks and school schedule
• Must meet ITAR requirements for U.S. person status
