Responsibilities
- Learn about the forging process and production tracking.
- Assist with the purchasing of supplies for the forge shop.
- Suggest projects to improve productivity or reduce variable costs.
- Track projects to determine success or failure and potential impact.
- Hold responsibility for individual and group projects.
- Perform other projects/duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum second-year student working towards a Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and interact closely with other departments, customers, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); Oracle knowledge is a plus.
- Flexibility to work around breaks and weekly school schedule.
- Must comply with ITAR regulations for U.S. person status.
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
