Responsibilities
- Translate customer design requirements into build-ready UL 508A compliant electrical schematics.
- Build out Podium’s component database and standardized symbol library.
- Test, implement, and provide feedback on new software tools to speed up schematic creation.
- Support operations by answering technician questions and improving processes.
- Assist in the automation of the panel build process through testing new methods and tools.
- Ensure necessary information is digitized during the design phase.
- Collaborate with team members to promote customer obsession and high integrity.
Job Requirements
- Completed a 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of work experience in electrical engineering with a good understanding of electrical fundamentals.
- Familiarity with DTM, E3, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Availability to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY, 5 days a week.
- Experience in a UL 508A panel shop or designing industrial control panels is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in light sheet metal modification work and wiring is desirable.
