Responsibilities
- Design and schematic entry of power subsystems for satellites.
- Oversee PCB layout process and release drawings for manufacturing.
- Conduct PCBA bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Qualify designs for EMI/EMC compliance and thermal performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing test engineering to define automated test procedures.
- Respond to anomalies and troubleshoot systems for on-orbit spacecraft.
- Participate in the design for high shock and vibration loads during rocket launches.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in designing and testing PCBAs, focusing on power electronics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Familiarity with analog, digital, and mixed-signal design.
- Experience in embedded systems design.
- Knowledge of PCB layout techniques for power routing and EMI mitigation.
- Proficiency in using common EE lab tools.
- Basic scripting experience in Python or similar languages.
