Responsibilities
- Lead the design, review, and management of electrical systems and subsystems, emphasizing safety and compliance.
- Architect power, control, and communication systems for robotic platforms.
- Develop electrical requirements and specifications for system-level design.
- Deliver manufacturable electrical solutions and support production release.
- Coordinate electrical engineering activities across projects and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
- Write and maintain functional specifications and test procedures.
- Architect and debug complex embedded systems, including analog/digital circuits.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred) with 8+ years of experience in robotics or automation.
- Strong background in electrical safety, control systems, and system-level design.
- Proficient in PCB design and schematic layout, experienced with Altium or equivalent tools.
- Knowledgeable in AC/DC power distribution and industrial power standards.
- Skilled in cable harness design and system wiring.
- Experience with power electronics, motors, and sensors.
- Strong communication skills to lead and coordinate across engineering teams.
